Solida FC are just thirty minutes away from receiving their second crown as the Jinja College (JICO) League season reaches a climax.
However, they face an uphill task as they must overcome title contenders Collegian FC bankrolled by Bullen Constructions.
The title fight is among three teams of Solida, currently topping the table with 24 points from 12 games, closely followed by Mbokya who are second and are praying that Collegian beat Solida FC and hope they beat 9th placed Mboyo FC.
Should Solida and Mbokya lose their games and Mbuya wins its last game against Millenium Jubilee entrants Kibati FC, then it will take home the crown.
The KR Media-sponsored Kaswandi FC, the most improved team of the season, could attain fourth place finish should they win their last two games.
In the race for the golden gloves is Ben, the Collegian goalie, followed by Kaboige’s Musoke. Those for the golden boots are Solida’s Adam Douglas with 8 goals and Muddy Menya from Mbokya with 6 goals.
